It's finally finished!

A book five years in the making is finally done!

Five years ago, I had an idea. It was a small idea., but I couldn't seem to get it out of my head. So, I started scribbling the first chapter on a piece of paper.

Hated it. Threw it out.

Tried again a few weeks later.

Still hated it. Threw it out again.

This went on for months...which quickly turned into years.

Finally, I said, "You know what? I am going to just start writing the rest of it and see what happens!"

I probably changed the details of those first few chapters at least 20 times.

But finally, I had a finished product...well, somewhat finished.

I read over it time and time again making tweaks and changes every time and had friends and family read it and give me edits and input before the final edit.

And then, there it was. A finished product.

I promised myself a long time ago that on my 30th birthday, I would hold a finished book of mine in my hands, and six days from now, I will do just that!

Tyler and Sam were so much fun to write about (despite the difficult things they endure), and I am already over halfway done with the second.

Can't wait to keep going on this journey with all of you!
